Video Poker Game Options

At Platinum Play we like to give different options! The Game Options function enables you to choose your own different game settings. You are allowed to change your game sound, speed and AutoPlay settings, as well as enable or disable the Optimal Play Hints feature.

The options dialogue box | General tab | Hints tab | Autoplay Tab

The Options Dialogue Box: Click the Options button to open the Options dialog box. The Options dialog box displays the following:

General tab

• Speed Settings section
  Displays a choice of deal speed settings. You can set the game to play Slow, Medium, Fast or Fastest by selecting the relevant radio button.
• Sound Settings section
  Displays a choice of sound settings. You can switch off All Sounds, Game Sounds, Win Sounds or Background Sounds by selecting one or more of the required check boxes.
• Other Settings section
  The Allow Double option enables or disables the Doubling option. If this option is disabled you will not be asked if you would like to Double. This applies to both Expert and Regular Mode.
• The Auto Hold option
  Enables or disables the automatic hold option. If enabled the Auto Hold function makes the hold decisions based on the Optimal Play Strategy. This applies to both Expert and Regular Mode.

Hints tab

At Platinum Play you don’t need to be a pro in order to do well. You have your optimal strategy all sorted out for you! The Optimal Play Hints option shows a hint when the expected return on your cards dealt and the hold decisions made by you are not optimal according to the Optimal Play Strategy.

This setting can be enabled and customized to show a hint when the difference in expected return in credits goes over or under the amount you have chosen.

You are able to disable the Optimal Play Hint Settings dialog box by selecting the Don’t display this dialog again check box.

AutoPlay tab

The AutoPlay option enables you to automatically play a selected number of consecutive hands without having to interact with the software.

AutoPlay uses an Optimal Play Strategy. Click the Settings button to configure your AutoPlay settings. For more information about the AutoPlay settings see the AutoPlay section.
