Online Baccarat Guide
Baccarat rose to fame as a casino classic in popular culture largely because of the antics of one James Bond, in such movies as the original Casino Royale, Golden Eye, For Your Eyes Only and Dr. No. Baccarat was the well-known spy’s favourite gamble, and today, the game still hasn’t lost its exotic appeal, or its espionage-engendered enchantment. Platinum Play Online Casino offers a superb online baccarat experience for the online enthusiast, to get that gamble on, just like James Bond!

How to Play in the Casino Software
Online baccarat makes use of a single deck of 52 standard cards. After each game, the deck is reshuffled. The object of baccarat is to guess – and bet on – the closest value to nine that will be revealed. Betting on a tie is also a high priority that pays out to excellent odds, so betting is restricted to betting on the Banker, the Player or a Tie. These bets are placed as follows:
- The Banker’s bet: the player bets on the Banker’s hand as being the one that will win a game. A chip is placed on the Banker’s betting area.
- The Player’s bet: the same as the Banker’s bet, only difference being that the player gambles on winning the game, so a chip is placed on the Player’s betting area.
- A Tie bet: not as long a shot as can be imagined – the player bets that both his/her hand and the Banker’s hand will be the same value. The bet is placed in the area marked out as the ‘Tie’ betting spot.
Stakes in online baccarat are pretty high. The maximum betting limit is 500, a pretty steep but exciting bankroll blaster. Increasing or decreasing a bet in the software is as simple as hitting the (+) or (-) buttons, to adjust the desired betting range accordingly. Also, if the credits are running low, simply hit the handy ‘Bank’ button – not to be confused with the ‘Banker’ button, which places the bet on the Banker’s hand. The ‘Bank’ button may be found on the bottom left side in the software screen, below the ‘Games’ button (where different games can also be selected) and above the ‘Game Options’ button.
To exit or disconnect from the casino, simply click the topmost left button. A drop-down list with numerous options will appear, where the player can either change the game, the software sound, make a purchase, send mail, access more help options or, right at the bottom of the menu, select the ‘Exit Game’ option, to stop playing.
